To celebrate my 11-year anniversary of survival, I'm bringing back the WholeHearted Bike Tour, but making it virtual! When I was 31 years old, I suffered a heart attack while on a 60-mile bike ride in the foothills of Colorado. A lot has changed since then! I became a Holistic Health Practitioner, then a Yoga Teacher, left my 18-year career in Human Resources, and started Firefly Community to help others find their path to health and happiness. I've hosted four in-person WholeHearted Bike Tours, but decided to go virtual this year due to COVID-19 and restrictions on social gatherings.
Join us in a ride of your choice anytime on July 11, to support the Physician's Committee for Responsible Medicine. PCRM's vision is "Creating a healthier world through a new emphasis on plant-based nutrition and scientific research conducted ethically, without using animals." PCRM's efforts are dramatically changing the way doctors treat chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, obesity, and cancer. By putting prevention over pills, doctors are empowering their patients to take control of their own health.
You choose your ride! Whether you want to hit the road or the trail in morning, afternoon, or evening, and ride 5 miles or 100, it's up to you! Don't have a bike? No problem, take a walk or a hike instead. This is a donation-based event, but please register to let us know you are participating!

Experience Colorado's freshest water sport, Stand Up Paddleboarding, held on the calm, flat water of Evergreen Lake! Learn the SUP basics of safety, paddle technique, and maneuvering your board with confidence. No experience necessary! Once you are comfortable on the board, we will practice yoga poses to incorporate strength, balance, core, and flexibility. One of the fastest-growing water sports, SUP yoga combines the healthy benefits of outdoor recreation with the fundamentals of asana practice in a way that is accessible to all experience levels. Enjoy the serenity of taking your yoga on the water!
